A long weekend of cycling

Friday night - arrive in Albany. Stay at our recommended bicycle friendly accommodation.

Saturday - Bikes delivered to your door, checked for size and safety. Ride off into the beautiful day** and take the  Munda Biddi Trail through the back blocks of Albany. Detour to the beautiful beaches of Muttonbird Island and Cosy Corner and take lunch at the Cosy Corner cafe. Potter along the Munda Biddi trail or take the Torbay Hill challenge via Shelley beach to arrive at bicycle friendly accommodation at Lowlands Beach.

Sunday - Take your time to visit Lowlands beach before enjoying the single track of the Mund Biddi Trail through the coastal hills. Boston brewery is a good spot to detour for lunch if you are feeling that way inclined. Ride in the afternoon light and enjoy the tranquility of the heritage trail along beautiful Wilson inlet.  Relax in our rustic cottage with views of the inlet and/or explore Denmark town.

Monday - Have a morning paddle on the glassy** waters of the inlet before hopping back on the bike following the varied tracks around the harbour partly on the Bibbulmun track and then rejoining the Munda Biddi trail on Ocean Beach Rd. Follow the trail down Lights Beach Rds. Take the winding sealed track through the peppermint forest over the dunes to Madfish Bay and then stop for a picnic lunch at William Bay. Those with the legs for it could head for the hills and take lunch at one of the many places to dine on Mount Shadforth Road before rolling back down the hill to town. A more leisurely return is along  the heritage trail back to Denmark through quiet tracks and farmland.

Take the 5.23pm bus back to Albany arriving at 6.05.
